Your questions, answered...

What is the HASSL Ambassador Program?

The HASSL Ambassador Program is a global community of volunteers helping to tackle harassment at the root. Ambassadors raise awareness, contribute skills, test initiatives, join focus groups, and help grow the movement worldwide.

Who can become an ambassador?

Anyone! Ambassadors come from over 100 countries, across all ages, backgrounds, and skillsets. If you believe in HASSL’s mission, you can join - whether you’re a student, professional, parent, or simply passionate about change.

Is there a cost to join?

No. Becoming an ambassador is 100% free. We believe everyone should have the chance to contribute, regardless of their financial situation.

What do ambassadors actually do?

Tasks vary, and you can choose what suits you. Examples include:

  • Joining focus groups by demographic (men, teens, parents, university, etc.)
  • Sharing ideas for campaigns, podcasts, or events
  • Creating social content, writing articles and joining market research projects
  • Helping with outreach to press, organisations, or brands
  • Creating or testing new resources and tools
  • Simply spreading the word online or offline

How much time do I need to commit?

As much or as little as you want. Some ambassadors get involved daily, others a few times per month. There are one-off tasks, ongoing projects, and events you can drop into whenever you’re free.

Do I need specific skills or experience?

Not at all. There are tasks for everyone - from quick actions anyone can do, to professional projects (e.g. copywriting, tech, design, fundraising) for those who want to use their expertise.

Can under-18s join?

Yes, but with parental consent. Under-18 ambassadors have access to specific spaces, groups, and opportunities designed for them, with extra safeguarding in place.

What support will I get as an ambassador?

You’ll get access to:

  • The HASSL Ambassador Platform (training, resources, and tasks)
  • A global community of like-minded volunteers
  • Focus groups, monthly calls, and events
  • Support from the HASSL team, PRO Ambassadors and Country Reps

How will I know what to do?

Once you join, you’ll complete the onboarding program which explains everything step by step. You’ll also get access to “Help HASSL” tasks - a hub of quick, clear actions you can take anytime.

Why is being an ambassador important?

Because HASSL runs on people power. We don’t rely on donations - instead, ambassadors are the heart of our movement. Every action helps us grow faster, reach further, and make harassment impossible to ignore.

How do I join?

It’s simple - fill out the short application form. Once approved, you’ll get access to the platform, tasks, community and lots more!

Ready to join?

If this sounds like you, tell us why becoming a HASSL Ambassador matters to you. No pressure to do it all - just the chance to make an impact, your way.
