We're over it.

Sick of being catcalled in the street? Tired of getting harassed by strangers? Avoiding staying out late for fear of assault? Just want people to let you live? We get it. So we're doing something about it.

71%

of women have experienced street harassment by age 15 (Parliament Committees)

68%

of women aged 25-34 report public transport harassment (ONS, 2023)

75%

of women say harassment makes them anxious about public spaces (Mind, 2024)

Fixing the system, not women.

Not another “safety tool” or "stay safe” tip. HASSL was founded in October 2024 to tackle the root causes of harassment globally: outdated public spaces, systemic sexism, male violence, lack of awareness, and barriers to reporting - that all keep the cycle going.

We're currently working through Stage 3 of our 5-stage plan: a combination of tech tools, training and awareness campaigns to shift the burden off women and onto society... where it belongs.

Our impact - so far.

Real change, already happening. And we're just getting started.

What makes HASSL different?

  • We tackle harassment at the root.

We focus on prevention, not just response – redesigning systems, spaces, and culture so the burden shifts off women and onto society as a whole. Our multi-angle approach combines tech, tools, training, and partnerships to stop harassment before it happens.

    What's the plan?
  • We invite men into the solution.

HASSL is for everyone. We actively engage men as allies, volunteers, and part of the conversation, making harassment prevention a collective responsibility rather than a women-only issue.

    How can men get involved?

What HASSL means to thousands...

You’re an important voice against the ongoing rise of toxic masculinity

Jan, Norway

I love this movement and the second I found it I became a supporter. It made me feel seen in moments where I felt invisible and powerless and now I’m hoping to become an ambassador

Ana-Maria, USA

What you’re doing is invaluable!

Evie, Wales

I think what you are doing is the first step to a safer world for women

Nina, Germany

Love what I’ve seen so far

Emma, UK

you’re doing great! :)

Keira, England

LOVE IT!

Emily, UK

You’re doing such a good thing as an organisation- TW: if I had this when I was a kid maybe I would have known what happened to me wasn’t okay

Adelle, Australia

I love your content, it's always facts and raises awareness.

Luna, Finland

Thank you xxx

Holly, UK

Lucy, England

I absolutely love that women are making safe spaces for other women and creating community where we stick together and thrive!

Sivanah, US

love what i’ve seen so far.

Millie, UK

I just think this is the right way to go we need to band together and put our foot down that this is not acceptable

Ava, UK

I honestly believe the kinds of posts you’re putting up on social media are really helpful. The TikTok about facts with equal rights is a great way to help educate people digitally on how systematic misogyny is and has been forever.

Kemrie, England

I do love the work. I follow you on TikTok and the content is excellent. I’ve shared a ton of it.

Anonymous, Greece

Love what you guys are doing so far !

Anonymous, France

Love what you do and your message. Makes me feel seen and valid.

Lottie, UK

I just love what you’re doing. Women should be able to feel safe in our society, but we don’t. I think your platform is amazing and you’re hopefully going to do so much change which makes me so glad.

Emma, Sweden

I think what you are doing is amazing. As someone who has experienced SA and whose two daughters have also been affected, I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am to witness the rise of HASSL.

Ashlee, USA

I just am glad someone is doing something. My poor students get street harassed regularly. We need to make me feel empowered in helping women so the terrible ones won't flip the script and be like, I can't even talk to a woman because I am afraid of being reported for harassment.

Michael, USA

You’re doing a great job.❤️I love you, for doing this. Really.

Sara, Germany

Hassl is the first business I have seen that solely cares for the safety of women. It’s past due and I am so grateful. We have a long way to go but it starts here and now. Women will be safe on our streets again. Hassl will make this happen

Marie, England

The mission is such an important one and I'm so excited to see someone gale fhis SO seriously and to see this being tackled from an angle that isn't 'here's how to defend yourself' or 'here's a rape alarm'. this is incredible. i can't wait to follow this initiative as it grows. thank you so much. we have needed this for too long.

Keria, England

I think you guys are doing an amazing job and most of my awareness post come from HASSL. I love your page so much!

Hailey, USA

Even though this is just a startup and we don’t know how well it will work or how much of an impact it will have I just want to thank you. For all the work that you are doing, for asking and listening, and for prioritizing women’s safety. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!❤️
