HASSL Survey Reaches 2,000 Responses, Collecting Voices Across the World
Share
Today, the HASSL Shaping Safety Survey hit 2,000 responses – a major milestone just months after being founded, and one that marks a turning point for HASSL’s mission.
This survey was designed to do more than collect statistics. It digs into the realities of harassment, from what behaviours people experience most often, to why they do or don’t report, to what changes they believe would actually make a difference.
Reaching 2,000 responses so early on is significant for several reasons:
-
Evidence to Shape Solutions: The data gives us a clearer picture of what needs tackling first and helps us design initiatives that respond to real-world issues, not just assumptions.
-
Credibility with Partners: When we speak to workplaces, brands, and policymakers, being able to show numbers will give weight to the conversation and show that the demand for systemic solutions is measurable and urgent.
-
Foundation for Growth: This early dataset becomes the baseline for future research, allowing us to track cultural change over time and measure whether HASSL’s work is moving the needle.
-
Amplifying Voices: For many respondents, filling in the survey is their first chance to have their experiences recognised and turned into something that drives change - a crucial part of making people feel heard.
This milestone comes during Stage 1 of our five-stage plan - our foundation-building stage, focused on listening, learning, and proving there is a global appetite for the kind of systemic change HASSL is working toward.
