HASSL’s “In My Country” campaign hits 1 million views
Share
HASSL’s first Country Reps campaign video, “In My Country,” has officially surpassed 1 million views - with a collective watch time of more than 24- days.
The video features HASSL Country Reps from across the world - including Nigeria, India, Canada, Singapore, South Africa, Australia, Kosovo, and more each sharing shocking realities about laws, norms, and attitudes towards women in their countries. Lines like “In my country, rape is a legal right when you’re married” sparked global conversations in the comments, as viewers shared stories from their own regions.
This milestone marks far more than reach, it’s evidence of how powerful storytelling and representation can be when it comes to driving cultural awareness. The campaign has ignited dialogue across borders, connected communities, and brought international attention to the shared yet varied experiences of women worldwide.
It also showcases the growing strength of our Country Reps initiative, part of Stage 3 of our five-stage plan: scaling global education, representation, and advocacy. By amplifying diverse voices, we’re not only highlighting inequality, we’re building a united, global community committed to change.
