HASSL joins Kaleidoscopic UK’s Domestic Abuse Prevention Convention

HASSL was honoured to be invited as guests to Kaleidoscopic UK’s annual Domestic Abuse Prevention Convention - a powerful one-day conference marking Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM).

The event brought together survivors, sector leaders, frontline professionals, and advocates from across the UK to share knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and push forward real solutions to end violence and abuse. Sessions covered a range of critical topics, from stalking and coercive control to child sexual abuse, education, community impact, and prevention.

For HASSL, this invitation was more than an event, it was an opportunity to connect with leading organisations and influential people, deepen understanding of the intersection between public harassment and domestic abuse, and strengthen our partnerships with those working on aligned missions.

See what we got up to here:

Founder Amy Watson has been invited to speak at next year’s conference, sharing HASSL’s five-stage strategy for tackling harassment at the root and shifting responsibility from victims to society.

Collaborations like these are vital to building a unified approach to violence prevention - linking public space harassment, education, and domestic abuse prevention into one cohesive conversation.
