HASSL attends Metropolitan Police Tech Abuse Cyber Clinic
Share
HASSL was invited to attend the Metropolitan Police’s Tech Abuse Cyber Clinic at New Scotland Yard, bringing together leading stakeholders, women’s safety organisations, and domestic abuse practitioners from across the UK.
The event focused on the rapidly growing issue of technology-facilitated abuse - including digital stalking, tracking devices, online harassment, and the dark side of AI. Attendees explored the challenges frontline professionals face - especially in regard to survivors of domestic violence, and the collaborative steps needed between tech, policy, and advocacy sectors to address the problem.
For HASSL, this was a key opportunity to share our prevention-first approach and to connect with law enforcement and sector leaders working to create systemic safeguards. By bringing lived experience, digital insight, and education strategy to the table, HASSL continues to ensure that tech safety and accountability are central to tackling harassment at the root.
This collaboration aligns with Stage 3 of our five-stage plan, expanding education and influence through strategic partnerships, and builds toward our later goal of developing reporting technology that reduces trauma and increases access to justice.
