HASSL Ramps Up Social Media to Turn Awareness into Education
Share
Today, HASSL launched our Social Media Education Initiative and welcomed our first-ever Social Media Manager, Carla Sayers - a major milestone in scaling our mission.
From the beginning, social media has been our most powerful tool to reach millions, challenge harmful norms, and move people from awareness to action. Until now, every post, thread, and campaign has been created by our founder, while also running the entire organisation.
Hiring a dedicated Social Media Manager isn’t a vanity move - it’s a deliberate strategy. Social media is how we scale impact without ad spend, how we shift public perception, and how we secure major partnerships. With Carla onboard, we can finally take you behind the scenes, capture our initiatives in action, and show our impact in real time.
This isn’t just about posting - it’s about education at scale. Our social channels break down myths, share bystander and allyship tips, highlight reporting barriers, and recognise misogyny in the everyday and now we are ramping it up. This initiative aims to use HASSL’s platforms to meet people where they are - turning everyday scrolling into a moment for reflection, learning, and action.

This initiative marks a key milestone in Stage 3 of our five-stage plan: turning awareness into education and building cultural momentum worldwide, while keeping initiatives free and accessible.
