HASSL launches "contradictions" awareness campaign

HASSL launches "contradictions" awareness campaign

Today, HASSL officially launches our second awareness campaign - and we are so please to finally share it with the world.

This new piece has been created to be bold, honest, and reflective of the conflicting expectations placed on women, but teen girls especially, every day. After the incredible response to our first campaign (Girls Just Wanna…), which has now reached more than 2.3 million views, we set out to create something that would deepen the conversation and challenge people to rethink what women are up against.

What makes this launch particularly meaningful is that it was shaped by the voice of one of our teen ambassadors, Lani. Her spoken word content on social media served as the starting point for the narrative, and the script grew from the lived experiences of several of our teen ambassadors. They also contributed ideas and themes, ensuring the campaign reflects the reality they navigate every day.

Campaigns form a vital part of Stage 3 in our five-stage plan. They allow us to reach wide audiences quickly, educate at scale, and create cultural impact with minimal cost. These campaigns are one of our strongest tools for shifting public understanding of harassment - and we’ll continue building new ones as we grow.
