HASSL Ambassador Network Surpasses 2,000 Volunteers

Today, HASSL is proud to celebrate a major milestone: our Ambassador program has now grown to over 2,000 volunteers from around the world.

This is more than a number - it’s a sign that our movement is real, rooted, and rapidly expanding across communities. Our ambassadors are the heart of HASSL. They’re contributing content, giving feedback, joining meetings, writing articles, and shaping the direction of our work. Through their voices, we avoid being a top-down organisation - instead, every initiative is grounded in lived experience

Why this matters:

  • Authenticity & diversity: Ambassadors come from over 100 countries, representing myriad languages, cultures, genders, backgrounds, and walks of life. That breadth gives us the means to ensure our campaigns, training, content, and tools resonate globally as we develop them.

  • Scalable feedback loop: As ambassadors test ideas, pilot campaigns, contribute their local insights, we receive real-time feedback. This helps us refine what works, discard what doesn’t, and ensure our growth is grounded - not hypothetical.

  • Credibility & trust: Organisations, brands, and funders often ask: “Can you show there’s community interest?” Showing we have 2,000 volunteers is tangible proof of momentum, willingness to show up, and grassroots demand. That makes partnership conversations far more credible.

  • Movement-building & ownership: This isn’t about followers. It’s about co-creation. Ambassadors don’t just do tasks - they lead, propose ideas, contribute skills and become local advocates in their regions. That sense of ownership makes the movement stickier, more resilient, and enduring.

  • Finance & sustainability: Having an engaged base means we can amplify without heavy ad spend or dependence on external funding. Ambassadors sharing content, building communities, and contributing their skills helps us build reach and impact while so much of our limited resources go into mission-critical priorities/

This milestone is aligned with Stage 3 of our five-stage plan - to start to really build out our ambassador platform and ensure representation and diversity.
